A Fun Day at the Park
Yesterday was a beautiful day at the park. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing. Sarah and her friends went to the park to play. They brought a ball, a frisbee, and a picnic basket.
First, they played with the ball. They threw it to each other and laughed a lot. Then, they threw the frisbee. It flew through the air, and Sarah caught it. She was very happy!
After playing, they were hungry. They sat on a blanket and ate sandwiches and fruit. Sarah’s sandwich was peanut butter and jelly. Yum!
Suddenly, they heard music. It was coming from a small stage in the park. They went to see what was happening. There was a band playing music! Sarah and her friends danced and clapped.
When it was time to go home, Sarah felt tired but happy. She hugged her friends and said, “Today was the best day ever!”
